International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples is celebrated globally on August 9 and occurs within the second year of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.

As we welcome the start of August and the long weekend ahead, we hope our DSB1 students, staff, families, and community have been enjoying the beautiful summer weather!

Each year, July 30 marks World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. This year's theme, "Reach every victim of trafficking, leave no one behind," is a call to action to enhance collective efforts around the world to strengthen prevention, identify and support victims of trafficking.
