Today, we celebrate Inuit Day, a time to recognize and honour the rich cultures, languages, and traditions of Inuit across Inuit Nunangat, the Inuit homeland encompassing communities in Nunatsiavut, Nunavik, Nunavut, and the Inuvialuit Settlement Region.

Introducing "Brain Boosters" for EQAO Prep!

Our Learning and Teaching team launched Brain Boosters, a quick and engaging way to help students strengthen key Language and Math skills while building confidence for EQAO.

These 5-minute questions give students regular practice with important concepts and EQAO-style thinking. Rooted in the Science of Learning, Brain Boosters promote strong routines, problem-solving, and meaningful discussion.

Skills Ontario’s Virtual Skilled Trade & Tech Day – Slick Wind Power Car Build

Grades 5 and 6 students from Central Public School and Joseph H. Kennedy Public School participated in Skills Ontario’s Virtual Skilled Trade & Tech Day Slick Wind Power Car Build. The event gave students the chance to design and build wind-powered cars while learning about engineering and renewable energy.
